Do Gambling Systems Work?

Although there are a number of systems used by players to aid them attain an edge the majority of of them either don’t work that well or else are a great deal too complicated for the normal player.  The single system that works to some extent, in Blackjack, is card counting.  This system is one where a player tries to keep track of the number of high value cards played the player then uses this information to help him or her make a call on the best way to proceed in playing a hand.  Whereas this offers a small benefit at a physical casino it is of no benefit when playing online, because the cards being used can and are regularly shuffled following every hand being played.

Bear in mind that although a few gaming techniques and methods work to provide a user a small increase to their chances the total advantage will at all times favor the house.  The systems available and the degree in which they perform depends on the casino game you are playing, with some games (such as Blackjack) using a card counting method provides a small boost in player chances – whereas other games (like slots) are totally random and no method is able to  be used to alter the odds in a favor. On the flip side, using a positive progression system you attempt to take advantage of on winning streaks. A problem using this method is that users don’t know when your winning streak will end and you will lose your most recent big bet.  The failure of a user to determine the duration of a winning streak is the major source of risk while using this procedure. You may wipe out your profits and come away with a loss.

A general good system would be to reduce your wagers on negative runs and maximize them on positive runs.

There is a gambling system for gamers to use in almost every casino game you think of, but no technique will give a user an improvement over the casino (one exception is card counting in Blackjack, this is discouraged in physical casinos and all but useless in an online environment).  If there were methods that could constantly beat the house, casinos wouldn’t survive for long.
