Following the first two cards, additional cards are dealt as needed. Whenever the initial 2 cards total 9 or 8, the hand is known as a “natural” and it wins immediately, except if each hand has identical value “naturals”, which results in a tie. If neither hand is a “natural”, extra cards are given out to determine the winning hand based off predetermined rules.

Strategically it would be advantageous to come up with some kind of card counting technique if you have such a talent. Otherwise, just enjoy this game of chance.
